Outstanding characteristics of Tali wood

Scientific name: Erythrophleum suaveolens Distribution area: Central and West Africa, especially in Congo, Cameroon and Gabon. Color: From deep yellow-brown to reddish-brown, with clear wood grain, fine and straight texture. Durability: Hard, solid, highly resistant to load and termites – classified in the group of wood with the highest natural durability. Density: Approximately 850–1,000 kg/m³ (kiln-dried), giving a heavy and substantial feel.
